BEEF VEGETABLE SOUP
BECKY ROCHAT 2 lb. Bringhursts cubed beef shank meat or beef shin on bone 1 Tbsp. Salt 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce dash of pepper 1 - 16 oz. can whole tomatoes - crushed 1 cup chopped onion 1 cup chopped celery 1 cup pared, sliced carrots 10 oz. Frozen cut green beans 1 cup diced, peeled potatoes ½ cup shredded cabbage Place all ingredients in crock pot, except beef. Place beef on top. Barely cover with water (about 2 cups). Cook on low 12-15 hours or on high 5-7 hours. Before serving, if you used bone in meat, remove meat and bones. Cut meat into bite sized pieces and stir into soup. Heat through and serve. |
