DEER PROCESSING FEES  FOR THE 2025 /2026 SEASON

We are currently accepting deer for processing.

​NJ still does not allow us to process bone in deer meat from out of state.

This year, for your convenience, we are again offering 24/7 drop-off service. During business hours, use the office entrance and check in at the customer service window. We’ll send someone out to assist you with your deer. Do not use the after hours drop-off during our business hours (below).

When the office is closed, use the after hours check-in station on the left side of the building. Well-lit and under 24-hour video surveillance, it provides a secure and convenient alternative to our regular check-in service.

To avoid processing delays, please follow these after hours instructions carefully. These instructions are posted in the drop off area above the shelf holding the box of tags:
  • When our office is closed, only use the designated after hours drop off station.
  • Your deer must be field dressed.
  • Take an after hours tag from green box on the shelf by the door.. Provide your name, phone number, confirmation number and license number on the tag. Please do not leave cutting instructions on the tag.
  • Attach tag securely to a front leg of your deer.
  • Keep the receipt portion of the tag (with number on it) for your records. You will need that number when submitting your cutting instructions, and when picking up your deer, so you may want to take a picture of it.
  • Place the deer on the pallet in the cooler. Do not attempt to hang the deer yourself; if it is still warm, spread its legs to allow better cooling.
  • Close cooler door tight
  • Submit your processing order as soon as possibleat bringhurstmeats.com/deer-orders, or by calling 856-767-0110 the next business day. We must receive your order within 24 hours of drop-off.

If you desire your deer to go to Hunters Helping the Hungry, note that on your drop off tag. We still need all your hunting license information and will contact you for that.​

We accept deer for processing 24/7.

Self check-in is available at all other times.

​PLEASE FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS ON THE SIGN FOR SELF DROP OFF! DURING SELF CHECK-IN HOURS, PLACE YOUR DEER IN THE RED COOLER.


Although the standard turnaround time for deer processing is one week, it can sometimes take a bit longer. Be sure to confirm that your deer is ready before coming to pick it up. Check our is it ready?” page for the the current status. 

There is a $1 per box, per week storage fee for any deer left over 30 days. Deer that are not picked up within 60 days will be discarded.

We add a small amount of pork to some venison sausage products to enhance their flavor and texture.

We are not allowed to process bone-in deer harvested outside of New Jersey.  Our state game code stipulates:
  • It is prohibited to bring a whole carcass of any member of the Cervid family such as deer, elk, moose, and caribou (reindeer) harvested in ANY other state or country into New Jersey.
  • It is prohibited to bring a non-taxidermied head of any member of the Cervid family harvested ANY in other state or country into New Jersey.
  • ONLY boned-out meat, cleaned skullcaps and hides, shed antlers, and clean upper canine teeth of any member of the Cervid family may be brought into New Jersey.
